“Does InvesTools Really Work Or Is It Just Another Scam?”

DOES INVESTOOLS REALLY WORK, OR IS IT JUST ANOTHER SCAM?
My dad and I recently attended one of those elaborate seminars where about 6 or so different programs were presented. The sponsors of the seminar went all out, they served us lunch, had an opening performance by one of the Osmond brothers (that was kinda weird), the first guy that won the APPRENTICE reality show spoke, they even had Les Brown speak at one point. The INVESTools program was pitched there, and although we were sold on the product completely, my dad and I realized that we were caught up in all the hype and decided to wait until INVESTools had their own mini seminar and purchase the program at that time.
Weeks past, then a couple of months, and still no INVESTools. We began to feel as if we had missed out on a great deal. Finally INVESTools was going to be in Scottsdale again offering a FREE two-day course and we signed up immediately.
THE FIRST DAY:
We attended the first of a two- day free “course”. Eager to learn about the product and how it worked we sat through an all day sales pitch. Understanding that they would not give too much info for free, we patiently sat through the first day, purchasing the program (approx. $2000) at the end of the day, after all, the second day (only available to those purchasing the course), would go into great detail about how this product could be used to start earning money investing with a minimal amount of funds to start. Not only that, they were not going to charge the credit card until after the fist session of the second day, giving us a chance to opt out and cancel our order if we changed our mind. We had nothing to lose!
THE SECOND DAY:
The second day of the seminar started out promising, the first session was amazing. They went into great detail about past market trends using companies we were familiar with. They showed us how their software could indicate when to buy and when to sell a stock. The first session of the second day seemed to be building confidence in our ability to be successful trading in the stock market. Then the second session of the day began and we soon noticed that it was mainly just another all day sales pitch. This time they were pitching their OPTIONS TRADING COURSE. Now this was not just one course but a series of courses. These courses made the initial 2 grand that we had just dropped look like chump change. And they made it quite clear that you would not be able to successfully trade OPTIONS or use the product for OPTIONS TRADING until you completed and passed each course. That was not a problem, but they also made it quite clear in one of their question and answer sessions that without a large investment to start, one would find it difficult to trade options or stocks for any substantial income with a minimal investment.
This took the wind out of our sales a bit, but we figured that we could start slow, make money trading stocks with the program and use our earnings to fund the options course later. During one of the afternoon breaks, I ran this idea across on of the INVESTools reps and, upon learning that I did not have an extra $25-$30K (yes thousand) laying around to start my options education and trading, he promptly moved on to the next person with the next question, that’s right, he did not even bother to answer my question.
IS INVESTools A SCAM???
Honestly, all in all, I DON’T think INVESTools is a scam, perhaps more of a BAIT and SWITCH if anything. The principle and techniques demonstrated in the seminar are solid, but the infomercials and the sales pitch mislead people into thinking that you will not need much more than the price of the product to began making a substantial income investing in the stock marked. That simply is not true.
WOULD I RECOMMEND INVESTools???
Yes, I would recommend Investools for the investor with a minimum of $45k (yes, thousand!) dollars to begin investing. Approx. $2000 for the initial program + an additional $20K+ for further training and mentoring, then about $20-25K to trade options. I know that the above statement might came across a little sarcastic to some but this is not my intent at all. There were many individuals at the Investools course who fall in that category perfectly and could afford to further there wealth with this program and for them, this course is spectacular, but for me, I needed something that could be used now. I don’t consider the $2000 investment in Investools a loss, because I intend to move forward with the training at a later date.
WHAT NOW???
Fortunately, through all of my research and investigating, I found a product that does what it advertises. It doesn’t take a fortune to startup, and it does’nt require further courses at astronomical fees. You can read my review below.
